Do you require deposits?

Yes – a deposit/booking fee is required to hold your appointment. Deposits go towards the cost of the tattoo and are NON-REFUNDABLE. If an appointment needs to be rescheduled, please give 48 hours notice in order to avoid forfeiting the deposit. If the tattoo requires multiple sessions, the deposit will carry over and apply to the cost of the final session.

How much will my tattoo cost?

It depends upon both the individual piece and size. (How much detail is a factor as well as overall size.) Please fill out my booking form for an estimate.

Failure to show up for an appointment will result in the loss of your deposit. I will wait for 10 minutes, however, if I am not contacted within that time to let me know if you are running late , the appointment will be forfeited. I will not follow up if you have missed your appointment as it is each individual’s responsibility to navigate their schedules. If it was an honest mistake, I will be happy to rebook you, but a new deposit will be required to rebook.

What do you recommend for aftercare?

I will go over aftercare with you at the end of your appointment and give you a sheet to take home. I can also email you a copy of my aftercare sheet upon request. Please don’t hesitate to contact me if you have further questions regarding aftercare following your tattoo.

Do you take walk ins?

Tattoos are by appointment only.

What forms of payment do you take?

I can accept e-transfers or cash ONLY.

What won’t you tattoo?

I only do greyscale - black, grey & white tattoos. No colour.

Where are you located?

Carbon Creek Tattoo’s studio is located in the back of Moonlight Flowers & Boutique at 106 Centennial Square in Sparwood, BC. You will enter through the front, square entrance to Moonlight Flowers and walk to the back of the store to get to the tattoo studio.

What are your hours & availability?

I typically tattoo Tuesday – Saturday.

Is there anything else I should know before my appointment?

It is a good idea to be as well-hydrated and rested as possible before getting your tattoo. Avoid heavy alcohol consumption & sunbathing for 72 prior to your appointment. Please bring water or something to hydrate you during your appointment. Snacks are also encouraged! Feel free to bring your own music/headphones if you like. Please show up at your scheduled appointment time and not early so that I have time to properly sanitize and set up between appointments. Congratulations on reading the FAQ thoroughly!
